There is a lot of evil trickery going on in the world as it is the world with the presence of the prince, Satan. Today, someone can be with God, and the next day not. They submit to unholy organizations or Satan himself (mostly for money). God requires total submission in praise with hands lifted as to identify you because he knows his children are under attack. He knows his spirit (Holy Spirit). He knows that Unholy things and spirits will not totally submit to him.
Do not appear to be strange fire to the Lord, Praise him and do it according to HIS requirements. You may know this but are you DOING it on a daily basis? In the King James Bible, two brothers, Nadab and Abihu (nephews of Moses) made a fire (incense) that was unholy and went to the temple to pray and offer it to God. It was rejected and God sent fire to devour them. God is not a respecter of persons. All must obey and all must praise him according to his commands.
Leviticus 10: 1-3 KJV 1And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. 2And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. 3Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.
Whenever Moses raised his hands, Israel was victorious, but when he lowered them Amalek prevailed (Exodus 17.8-13 KJV).
Exodus 17.8-13 KJV 8Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
