The Gospel consists of four books in the New Testament—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—that share the teachings of Jesus Christ. You can start the FREE “45 Day Challenge” at any time by visiting the ePrayer Circle homepage and selecting the “45 Day Challenge” menu option. Step One. Start in the order of: the Gospel of John, Luke, Mark and Matthew for understanding.
The instructions are designed for accessibility and ensures the learner is not overwhelmed and confused. Post your questions in the comment section and the author will answer you. Please share your experiences and opinions.
Step Two. Each lesson takes about 35 minutes to complete: 20 min to study the lesson and take the quiz. 15 minutes to read the Bible resource
It is recommended to read the entire post and then take the quiz before reading or listening to the bible resources. Each lesson is self-contained and includes all resources needed.
Step 3: You should complete two lessons a day. 5 Days a week in order to complete the “45 Days to Read The Gospel Challenge in 45 days”.
There is no law that says you have to complete these lessons in 45 days. You are free to work at your own pace. Study the lesson and take the quiz in the morning, and later listen to or read the bible resources.

Overview of The Gospel of John
One of Jesus Christ’s disciples, John, the son of Zebedee, wrote the Gospel of John, which is 21 chapters long. John is known as the “Disciple of Whom Jesus Loved.” Biblical scholars believe that John wrote this gospel around A.D. 80-90, about 50 years after witnessing Jesus’ earthly ministry.
John was an eyewitness to the events he describes in the gospel, and he wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (Note that John is not the same person as John the Baptist, who is discussed in this book.)
The Gospel of John explains who Jesus Christ is before creation, revealing his divinity as the Creator of the world, the Father (I AM), and the long-awaited Messiah, the Son of God in the flesh. Its purpose is to explain that even though Jesus is the Creator and God, believers should understand that he is also the Son of God who came in the flesh.
While we were still sinners, Jesus died for our sins and rose again to become the Savior of the world, reconnecting us to God. This is why we pray to the Father in Jesus Christ’s name.
By shedding his blood and sacrificing his life, Jesus defeated death and sin and gives us the gift of everlasting life through repentance and forgiveness. As John 3:16 KJV says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God is omnipresent, meaning that he can be in more than one place at the same time. He can be on earth (flesh) and in heaven (spirit) at the same time. Revelation 19:6 KJV says, “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
Isaiah 9:6 KJV“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son, is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Summary of The Gospel of John Two
In this lesson, we will explore the important events in John Chapter 2, where Jesus performs His first miracle and teaches about the holiness of God’s house. Students will learn how Jesus emphasizes the need to keep the church sacred and holy. We will also look at how Jesus speaks about His future, including His death and resurrection, which were part of God’s divine plan.
In John Chapter 2, we see two key events that show us more about who Jesus is. First, Jesus performs His first miracle at a wedding in Cana, turning water into wine. This miracle shows His power and the care He has for people, even in small moments of celebration. It also reveals His divine authority.
Later, Jesus goes to the temple and is angry when He sees people using it for buying and selling. He says, “My Father’s house is a house of prayer,” showing how important it is to keep the church holy. Jesus also talks about His future death and resurrection, which were part of God’s plan for Him to save the world. This chapter shows us that Jesus was predestined—meaning His purpose was set by God even before He came to earth.
