The Gospel consists of the four books in the New Testament that gives the teachings of Jesus Christ, written by John, Luke, Mark, and Matthew.
Overview of the Gospel of Matthew:
Matthew’s name means “Gift of the Lord”, a tax collector who left everything to follow Jesus Christ as an apostle (disciple). His former name was Levi, the tax collector. Matthew wrote the Gospel of Matthew. He wrote it for people who converted from Judaism. This Gospel demonstrates that Jesus Christ is the King and Messiah of Israel. His works support that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all of the old testament prophecies of the coming of the Messiah.
“This book describes Jesus’s genealogy, his miraculous birth and childhood, his baptism and temptation, his ministry of healing and preaching, and finally his crucifixion and resurrection. Note: Evil people, atheists, and aliens are not able to understand the Bible (Word of God) in the way it was meant to be understood. The parable of the sower and its exposition. This parable explains the different types of people that receive the Word of God and the reasons they do not accept it. 1
Jesus gave many symbolic parables of what heaven is like but the most famous being like the seed of a mustard tree. It is small and grows where birds can perch on it. The others parables are of the leavened bread, a hidden treasure, a valuable pearl, and of the net cast into the sea.
Why Jesus is rejected by his own countrymen. A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.
Matthew 13:54-58 KJ 54And when he came into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence has this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? 55Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then has this man all these things? 57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 14 explains the importance of faith as well as Herod’s opinion of Jesus: Jesus’s gave provisions by feeding 5000 people; Jesus walks on water and allows Peter to do also, demonstrating the power of faith; Many are healed by grace and power as they each touched Jesus’ garment.
Herod Antipas’ opinion of Jesus: At that time Herod Antipas, the tetrarch ( 4th son of Herod the Great) heard of the fame of Jesus, Matthew 14:2 2And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.
Note: “Herod Antipas is the same man who had previously ordered the death of John the Baptist. Later, Herod questioned Jesus about the accusations of the chief priests and the scribes. Jesus demonstrated his grace to provide our daily bread by feeding the masses.
Note: Jesus demonstrated to Peter that if his faith is strong enough he can walk on water. Therefore, when we come to Jesus in prayer, believe that our request is heard and granted. Some people called this manifesting but it is faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and the completed work on the cross. Be careful about speaking things into existence because Satan can answer your request as well and you will be in agreement with him. If we do not ask God for it, in Jesus Christ’s name, it is witchcraft.
The healing grace of Jesus: People are healed by touching Jesus’ garment. Matthew 14: 35KJV 35And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; 36And sought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
Note: God is powerful and by his spirit and his will, we are healed. Even if it is with the physical help of the right doctor, nurse, and medicine or hospital. God works through them and enables them to come with the correct diagnosis, skills, and medicine to heal.
In conclusion, Jesus is Lord, and by his spirit and his will, you are healed and provided for according to your faith.
