Prayer for Mother : Physical, Mental or Spiritual Healing
This week is Mother’s Day week. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9, 2021. Here is an ePrayer Circle’s prayer to pray for mothers who are ill.
It’s always better to pray with your mother while holding hands (touching) or with others. If not, pray with your mother over the phone. Remember, God is all-powerful, and time and distance are not barriers to his powers. Make sure everyone that prays repents their sins, forgives others and acknowledges Jesus Christ is Lord over their lives (saved).
If someone shows disbelief, won’t repent, or will not confess Jesus is Lord, ask them to leave the prayer circle nicely because you don’t know what God may hold against a person, and they may block your prayer request. If you know they do not believe or won’t confess beforehand, then do not ask them to join from the beginning. Just pray when they are not present. For example, if you are visiting a hospital, wait until they leave. Do not start arguments when you are going to go before God. May God be with you.
Prayer for Mother: Physical, Mental or Spiritual Healing
Our Father which art in heaven, We come before you asking the Holy Spirit to lead us in prayer so we pray in spirit and truth and in Jesus Christ’s name. We come before you with gratitude, love, fear, and thanksgiving.
Note: Each person praying with you, including mother, must say the next paragraph as you cannot repent other’s sin or confess the Lord for them)
I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I repent my sins, known and unknown. I ask the Holy Spirit to show me the areas of my life where I need to repent, then give me the grace to do better. I forgive all trespasses and hold no anger, resentment, and unforgiveness in my heart towards anyone. I agree with this prayer, please accept it on my behalf.
Father, in Jesus Christ’s name, we love you with all our hearts, mind, bodies, and souls. You have the highest place of honor in our lives and we trust you with our lives and our hearts. Father, you are worth more than silver and gold and all the treasures in the world because those things can’t save our souls. They can’t give the joy the world can’t take away. They can’t give unconditional love, power through your Holy Spirit, and a sound mind with peace beyond all understanding. You are worth all the glory, praise, and honor.
Father, as we come before you with our request, we acknowledge that you are the God that heals. We believe you are able and that it is your will to honor our request. We request that you heal mother. She is suffering from _________. We ask that if there be any unrighteousness, or if there be any unrepentance of sin or unforgiveness in her heart, please by your spirit reveal this to her and allow her to repent. We know you are faithful to forgive.
Please accept this prayer as intercession on Mother’s behalf. You are a good and holy God. There is no other God. You are the creator of all life, heaven, and earth. Your grace is sufficient for all our needs. Meet us at our point of need so we may not fall into temptation. We plea the blood of Jesus over our lives. May the meditation of our hearts, words of our mouths, actions, and social media be pleasing unto you. May we be made holy and acceptable to you. We lean on your understanding. Lord, this prayer is from a humble place with sincere hearts. We plead the blood of the lamb, confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord over our lives, we praised you, we repented our sins, and now we believe and receive whole healing in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
