Daily Word: Stand Strong! Philippians 1:28: Fearlessness in the Face of Opposition ️
Philippians 1:28-29: “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.” .29For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
This powerful verse from Paul’s letter to the Philippians speaks directly to the human struggle with fear in the face of opposition. It’s a call to courage, a reminder that our strength lies not in ourselves, but in God.
When we encounter opposition, be it persecution, discrimination, or simply disagreement, fear can easily grip our hearts. It can lead us to doubt ourselves, our beliefs, and even our faith. But Philippians 1:28 reminds us that fear is not the answer.
Instead, we are called to stand firm, undeterred by the threats or opposition of our adversaries. This doesn’t mean we should be reckless or confrontational. Rather, it means we should stand with conviction, rooted in our faith and confident in the power of God.
The verse beautifully contrasts the fate of those who oppose us with our own. For them, our fearlessness is a sign of their “perdition,” their ultimate downfall. In contrast, our courage is a “token of salvation,” a testament to the strength and guidance of God in our lives.
Philippians 1:28 is not a call to complacency or blind optimism. It’s a call to action, to face our challenges with courage and faith. It’s a reminder that we are not alone in our struggles, that God is with us, and that ultimately, victory belongs to Him.
So, the next time fear threatens to paralyze you, remember the words of Philippians 1:28. Stand strong, hold fast to your faith, and let the light of God shine through you. You are not your own keeper; you are a child of God, and He will see you through.

CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
