Assurance of the Peace of God During Confusing and Troubling Times

Assurance of Our Peace With God

There is so much confusion, hurt, and anger in the world. It’s easy for people to get depressed and get less sleep due to anxiety. You can be assured that God is with you and he is Peace himself.  Keep your thoughts on him. Keep God’s laws and sobriety so God’s Holy Spirt can work on your behalf.

My Help Comes From the Lord

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Philippians 4:8  “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

2Corinthians 13:11  Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Jesus told the disciples, whatever house you enter, test it to see if “Peace” lives there.

Luke 10:5-6

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the Son of Peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

 Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Grace

Alttag: Grace

Job 22:21-23

21 “Agree with God, and be at peace;
    thereby good will come to you.
22 Receive instructions from his mouth,
    and lay up his words in your heart.
23 If you return to the Almighty you will be built up;
    if you remove injustice far from your tents,

 Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Matthew 11:29-30 (KJV29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Peace belongs to you

ALTTAG #Peace belongs to Jesus and he gives peace to you.

Romans 5:1 -11  (KJV)

1.Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11.And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

The disciples asked Jesus to show them how to pray. Jesus gave them The Lord’s Prayer. We pray in Jesus name because of the finished work on the cross.  At the time, the disciples did not pray in Jesus Christ;s name because Jesus Christ was still with them.   He instructed them before he died, what ever you ask the father in my name you shall have.

The Lord is God Psalm 100:3  Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Matthew 6:7  7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

The Lord’s Prayer (KJV)  Matthew 6:10-16

10 Our Father, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
