Juneteenth (19th) is a National Holiday. US Celebrates Freedom of Black people.
On Wednesday, 6/16/2021, the US Congress declared Juneteenth or Emancipation Day a national holiday.
ePrayer Circle wants to take this time to remind everyone that the freedom of slavery came from an act of God. That’s right. The ending of slavery was not a goal only a means to reach a goal to help save the Union. Abraham Lincoln did not think that slavery would help save the Union. See below.
It was the slaves praying to God that freed his people. God answers the Faith. God brought about the war to free black people from slavery because he saw obedience from black people and their suffering. Before slavery, black people did not know who God was, our creator. It has been scientifically proven that all life started in Africa, source. Many people question it, of course, but there is no proven proof against it but proof for it. African leaders sold many Africans into slavery for goods such as guns and sugar. Just because at the beginning, Africans were traded into slavery, and later forced, there was no excuse for the treatment that was given on behalf of slave masters. It was vanity, greed and sexual sin that made servant hood evil. Moses a prophet in the bible own race were salves. This well document in the book of Exodus describing Israelite enslavement and departure from Egypt, including the famous parting of the Red Sea. God has freed people from oppression before. There is nothing new under the sun.
There are many people whose respected professions are maids, drivers, and cooks, even farm pickers. They are paid, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, there are slaves in various races and places today, against their will. It is time people get back to honoring God, to stand in the gap for the ones that do not know him until they do.
No one praises God the way black people do. our Gospel songs are rated the highest on musical charts. Black people churches are supported to the highest sense of submissions, praise and honor to God. That is one reason the South is labeled the Bible Belt and the location for many mega churches. Another great example is that Rev. Martin Luther King (Atlanta, GA) led black people to many victories as a minister and man obedient to God (non-violence). Today, he is the first man to hold a national holiday for Peace all over the world.
We have that same deliverance available to us today, if we act in accordance to God’s command and submit to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. If you are not saved please see offer of Salvation below. If you are saved, please pray for financial breakthrough, good health, and the removal of barriers that are placed upon us to enjoy what God has let us build. We need also pray against the evil that has penetrated our race through poverty and systems that are not in our favor nor in accordance with Gods laws.
Exodus 14:14 “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

“First things first: Juneteenth gets its name from combining “June” and “nineteenth,” the day that Gen. Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, bearing a message of freedom for the slaves there. It goes by many names. Whether you call it Emancipation Day, Freedom Day or the country’s second Independence Day, Juneteenth is one of the most important anniversaries in our nation’s history. June 19. Juneteenth became a state holiday in Texas in 1980, and a number of other states followed suit. However, Texas was the last state to free slaves, many states had freed their slaves prior because soldiers showed up burning down cities. There were no cell phones or carrier services back then as we have it today.
“General William Tecumseh Sherman and his troops captured the city of Atlanta (originally named Terminus) in 1864. In order to weaken the Confederate military organization, Union troops burned Atlanta to the ground before they moved on. “(Source: Atlanta Role in the Civil War. Emancipation Proclamation, Proclamation, 95:
President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, as the nation approached its third year of bloody civil war. The proclamation declared “that all persons held as slaves” within the rebellious states “are, and henceforward shall be free.”
“Moreover, the Proclamation announced the acceptance of black men into the Union Army and Navy, enabling the liberated to become liberators. By the end of the war, almost 200,000 black soldiers and sailors had fought for the Union and freedom”. Abraham Lincoln’s Letter to Horace Greely, which is on the internet in many forms. “My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union. ” (Source: Retrieved from the internet on June 17, 2021 from http://www.abrahamlincolnonline.org/lincoln/speeches/greeley.htm)

Call to salvation:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
