Being Unclean in Spirit and Body Could be Blocking your Blessings and Breakthrough
Spiritual cleanliness and physical cleanliness are often stated in the bible as being in a state of holiness. Jesus taught that it was what came out the mouth not what went in that defiles a person. In addition, when God was going to move for the people by conquering their enemies before them, he required them to become holy by abstaining from sin, covering their waste, cleaning up the camp, and washing their clothes. If someone was unclean (actions or physical), they had to leave the camp, wash, and return at sundown.
God is the same then as today, therefore, when you want the holy angels to come through and bless your home or situation, maybe you should clean up the WHOLE house or apartment then cleanse your WHOLE body. In addition, cleanse your heart and spirit by repenting. Sin separates us from God. If you do not acknowledge sin then you can not repent it. Agree with God you are wrong and he will be faithful to forgive you. If you do not know if that is the case, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you anything that is not pleasing to God and anything that you need to repent. Then ask God by his spirit for the grace to do better. If you have children and love ones in your home, get them to repent and cleanse too. Pray as a family and repent as a family. Remove stumbling blocks out of your way. Keywords: #repent, #cleanheart, #unclean,
1 John 1:9 KJV “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Matthew 15:11 KJV “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”
Deuteronomy 23: 14 14For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
Matthew 3: 13-17 KJV 13Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:17And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
John 13: 3 KJV – 3Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments, and took a towel, and girded himself. 5After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
9Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 12So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
