ePrayer Circle Daily Word: The Gospel Heals Because Grace is More Powerful Than the Law and Evil

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ came to save us from sin. The law in the Bible shows us what is right and wrong, but it can’t save us. God’s grace is what heals us, because grace is more powerful than the law and even evil.
Jesus Christ showed this when He healed people, not by following strict laws, but through His love and grace. For example, in John 9 KJV, Jesus healed a man born blind.
The Pharisees, who followed the law, were upset because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day, but Jesus knew that grace and love were more important than following the law without mercy.
Romans 6:14 (KJV) says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” This means that through Jesus, we are saved by His grace, not by trying to follow the law perfectly.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) reminds us, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” This shows that grace, not our own efforts, brings healing and salvation.
Finally, John 1:17 (KJV) says, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” This verse shows how Jesus brought something more powerful than the law—His grace.
Through His grace, Jesus heals us from the inside out, freeing us from sin and evil. We are no longer under the heavy burden of the law, but we live in the freedom and healing of God’s grace.
