Bible Study: Salvation Come From the Jews Explained.

Salvation comes from the Jews, as Jesus Himself was born a Jew. This statement highlights the important role of the Jewish people in God’s plan for salvation. Jesus’ lineage and mission fulfill the promises made to Abraham and his descendants. Regardless of race, nationality, or gender, all believers in Jesus are considered spiritual Jews by faith.

Supporting Story

In the Gospel of John, Jesus has a conversation with some unbelievers who claim to be descendants of Abraham. Jesus challenges their understanding by saying, “If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham” (John 8:39 KJV).

He explains that their lack of belief shows they are not truly Abraham’s children in spirit. Jesus teaches that true descendants of Abraham are those who have faith in God.

John 4: 22-24 KJV   22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Supporting Scriptures

  1. Romans 2:28-29 (KJV)

“For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

This scripture explains that being a Jew is about faith and a heart committed to God, not just physical ancestry.

  2. Galatians 3:7 (KJV)

“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.”

Paul teaches that those who have faith are the true children of Abraham, highlighting that spiritual lineage is more important than physical descent.

  3. Revelation 21:2-3 (KJV)

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

When Jesus returns, He will rule over the new Jerusalem with His saints, fulfilling the promises of salvation to all who believe.

  4. Leviticus 24:22 (KJV)

“Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.”

  5. Isaiah 56:6-7 KJV  6Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

In conclusion, Jesus was born a Jew, and through Him, salvation has come to all people. Regardless of race or background, everyone who believes in Jesus becomes a spiritual Jew, a true descendant of Abraham by faith. When Jesus returns, He will rule over the new Jerusalem with His saints, bringing God’s promises to fulfillment.

Call to salvation:

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
