Daily Word: Love Not Hate – Slander and Gossip is as Murder

This editor decided to create this post about “Love and not Hate” because social media and gossip blogs are so outrages that they are announcing celebraties dead (R.I.P) that are still alive. What? I also see and hear so much slander. I don’t think these people realize how it hurts people. Let’s not slander and gossip about each other. The bible describes slander as murder. Slander spiritual and sometimes physically kills people. It is a tool of Satan. Satan the accusser. He accused God’s people day and night. he was thrown out of heaven for that along with his friends.
I am grateful that God protects his children by the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ. We all make mistakes but God is the judge and because he forgives, each of us should be able to overcome and keep abundant living. God determines the punishment. This post does not condone criminal behavior. It is to remind us that there is a thing called Grace and Truth. Its called Salvation: repentance with remittance.
Proverbs 10:18 KJV “He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.”
Matthew 12:36 36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account there of in the day of judgment. 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Titus 3:4 KJV 1Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Ephesians 4:29 KJV “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Revelation 12:10 KJV 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
