Why Should We Meditate on Scripture and Study the Bible? Matthew 22:29 (KJV)
Why Should We Meditate on Scripture and Study the Bible?
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Knowing the Words in the Bible with obedience to God will help you know who Jesus is and his will for the believer’s life. In addition, knowing the truth will keep you from becoming a victim of bad decision-making that may take a lifetime to recover from. You will be able to stand against the enemy of your health, finances, relationships, home, heart, soul, and salvation. The Gospels in the Bible are your set of instructions from Jesus Christ (Gospel) for a God-filled life.
The Gospels (John, Luke, Mark, and Matthew) require many readings throughout your life. Each reading may yield a different meaning depending on what you need to know because the words are anointed. God and the Holy Spirit speak to you through the Word of God.

Deuteronomy 18-21 KJV 18Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins, girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Call to Salvation:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
