Letter From the Editor Change the Conversation Part 3. “Unveiling the Timeless Promise of God Against Demons, Aliens and Spiritual Warefare in a Diverse World – Jesus Christ is Lord.
I am drinking my coffee thinking about a recent incident in Flordia at a Mall. The story is that creatures or aliens were walking around the mall scaring people half to death. There are many Tik Tokers and YouTubers commenting and some telling eye witness accounts. These people have posted fuzzy cellphone videos of what allegedly occured.
I was not there so I cannot say what happen but if the “creatures or aliens did appear”, I think they may have been demons. This brings me to today’s talk. A spirit that is not human and not under the obedience of God is a demon no matter the shape or color. Demons are portrayed as spiritual beings aligned with evil forces, often associated with Satan.
The good news is the Lord gives us his reassurance that he is the all soveriegn God and nothing can stand against him. The name of Jesus is all powerful even in all the supernatural worlds. I want to explore bible scripture that supports these claims In addition, what the bible says about demons and their manifestations into our world today.
Lets expore how the bible, the uncorruptible word of God guides believers through challenges, strange gods, and the diversity of beliefs. Find strength in faith and discover the unity that transcends earthly boundaries.” James 2:19 (KJV): “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”Let’s talk about it.

Standing Strong in Faith and the promise of God
Imagine a friend who never abandons you, a constant presence in your journey through life. It’s a promise that resonates with believers, providing strength and courage in times of doubt and fear.
In Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
The verses below emphasizes that the battle against evil is not merely physical but involves spiritual forces, including demons.
Jesus is depicted as having the power to cast out demons, demonstrating his authority over them.
Matthew 8:16 KJV “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:”
Mark 5:1-20 (KJV): The story of the demon-possessed man in the region of the Gerasenes illustrates the destructive nature of demonic influence and Jesus’ ability to deliver individuals from such oppression.
Navigating Strange Gods
Joshua 24:20 warns against turning away from God and serving strange gods. In a world filled with diverse beliefs, this message remains relevant. The notion of ‘strange gods’ isn’t limited to ancient idols but extends to anything that takes precedence over our connection with the divine. As we encounter different perspectives, it’s a reminder to stay rooted in our faith and resist the allure of distractions.
Revelation 16:14 KJV “For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
1 Timothy 4:1 warns about the influence of deceiving spirits and doctrines promoted by demons in the future. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”
Philippians 2: 9-11 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
*****Note: It’s important to note that interpretations of the scriptures stated from the King James Bible may vary among different Christian denominations. Some view demonic manifestations as literal, while others may see them as symbolic representations of spiritual warfare. Christians (Believers) rely on prayer, spiritual discernment, and the authority of Jesus to resist and overcome the influence of demonic forces.
What do we do about it?
- Be strong in the Faith (Believe) with prayer and fasting, repentance and remittance. Learn scripture and the power of God. Sisters and brothers in the faith, stop playing with God. If you cannot praise him on earth how will you praise him in heaven? Love each other, again if you cannot do this on earth, how will you do it in heaven? Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-13 KJV
Luke 10:19 KJV “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Matthew 22:29 KJV “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”
Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
- Faith, Prayer and Fasting: “Declaring Jesus Christ is Lord and the Devil must flee by the blood of the lamb, The Holy blood of the Holy Jesus Christ” is a confession of mouth that Satan must obey.
Matthew 17:20-21 20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21Howbeit this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting
Mark 4:39 KJV “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, “Peace, be still”. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Luke 4:8 KJV “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
