The Just Live By Faith – His Mercy Endureth Forever

Because of the pandemic, I think this is a great time to spend some time reflecting on our priorities. Take some time to think about where our souls will rest when we leave this earth. Below are excerpts from the King James Bible demonstrating God’s love for us.  Then a praise song to God, praising him for his mercy and grace- Psalm 118.  Last but not least you are extended, an invitation to Christ

Romans 1: 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written. 2The just shall live by faith. Romans 2: 11 For there is no partiality with God.

Romans 5: 1-6,   Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  3.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience 4.  And patience, experience and hope.  5And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5: 8-11,  8But God demonstrates his own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  10For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled we shall be saved by his life.  And not only that but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Serve the LORD with gladness come before his presence with singing

Know ye that the LORD, he is GOD: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves: we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Wait no longer, give yourself to the Lord and receive salvation.  Call on the name of Jesus Christ and find a church home and get baptized.  Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be  saved.  John 3:5  Jesus answered Verily, verily, I say unto thee. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee-Ye must be born again.

Psalms  118 – His Mercy Endureth Forever

1  O give thanks unto the LORD: for he is good: because his mercy: endureth forever

2Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth forever.
3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth forever.
4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth forever.

5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me and set me in a large place.

6The LORD is on my side: I will not fear; what can man do unto me?

7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy

11They compassed me about; yea they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12They compassed me about like bees; they are quenced as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the LORD

18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and will praise the LORD.

20This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise thee:  for thou hast heard me and art beome my salvation

22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

23This is teh LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24 This is the day, which the LORD hath made: we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, I beseech the, O Lord; O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD, we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD

27God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar

28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29  O Give thanks unto the LORD for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Call to salvation:

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
