The Blessing of Loving Others – Pray for Me – Intercessors and Prayer Warriors
Has anyone ever asked you, “Will you Pray for Me? or Pray for Us.” That is a powerful and humble thing to ask someone to do. If not, why not? Do you carry yourself as a person someone can trust to pray for them? Any believer can pray for someone, you don’t need to be a preacher or highly trained or educated person. Just love God and believe and confess with your mouth, Jesus Christ is Lord. National Prayer Day is May 5, 2022. Established by Congress for people all over the world to pray to God.

Warning: Before praying for a person, test the spirit or know they are saved. You can pray prayers for people to get saved. There are limits in praying for unsaved people. They could be enemies of God. In addition, some of them do not want you to pray for them because they may pray in another’s name and a member of a different religion.
1 Corinthians 12:3KJV “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”
2 John 1:10-11KJV 10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed (God Bless): 11For he that biddeth him God speed (or God Bless) is partaker of his evil deeds.
Note: The laying of hands is a common practice in Christianity: supernatural healing, praying at the alter, ministering, and even the casting out of demons. Jesús healed by touch and sometimes he was not in the room with a person that he healed. Often, he did not need to see or touch them. Jesus often taught large multitudes of people from a boat with water surrounding it. One reason could be for distancing from strange fire (evil spirits) that may have been in the audience. 1 John 5:8 KJV “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”
1 Timothy 5:22 KJV “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.”
It is every believers responsibility to pray for others. It doesn’t cost a dime and can do more for them than money can ever do. Pray for Christians (sisters and brothers in Christ) and people that God will accept if they pray in his name. It is good to pray for people by name, if possible. Always, repent, forgive and release any bad feelings towards anyone before praying for yourself and others. The greatest prayer warriors are Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 1:2KJV “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;”
Mark 11:25KJV “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
Praying for others is considered service and an act of worship. You can pray for people in other countries, the motherless and fatherless, widows, your community, seniors, schools, teachers, doctors, lawyers, leaders, pastors, family, love ones, friends, neighbors, children, and anyone who may ask you to pray for them that believe in Jesus Christ.
Luke 2:37KJV “And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fasting and prayers night and day.”
In summary, love God, be saved, and pray for other believers, countries, communities because it is an act of service and worship commanded by God for believers. We are to be careful who we pray for and who we say “God Speed or God bless” to. If they pray in a name other than Jesus Christ, they could be enemies of God or in another religion and do not desire for you to pray for them. Be slow to lay hands on others for these reasons.
We are warned by the bible and prophets to “test the spirits” because no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit. If possible, pray for others by name. Importantly, make sure you repent your sins as well as release all unforgiveness so your prayers will be received. Now go pray for somebody.
Philippians 4:7 KJV 6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
