ePrayer for repentance and forgiveness:  Romans 2:4 – Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Repentance

Father, I ask the Holy Spirit of God to come and lead me in this prayer.

I pray in spirit and truth as I repent and pray for forgiveness of sins.

I hold no unforgiveness or bad feelings toward anyone.

 

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;

my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, 

and my high tower.” It is written:  Psalms 18:1-2 KJV   

 

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness:

according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies

blot out my transgressions. 

²Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity,

and cleanse me from my sin.

³For I acknowledge my transgressions:

and my sin is ever before me.  It is written: Psalms 51:3 KJV 

²Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,

thou understandest my thought afar off. 

³Thou compassest my path and my lying down,

and art acquainted with all my ways. It is written:   Psalms 139:2-3 KJV

 

“I trust in the LORD that you will deliver me:

let him deliver me, seeing I delight in him.”
