Psalm 23 is one of the most popular and beloved psalms in the Bible. It’s a beautiful and comforting psalm that expresses our trust in God’s provision and protection. This author prays this prayer every day and has for over 30 years. I prayed this prayer when I attended college away from home and when I took my kid to school. I prayed this prayer and Psalm 91 with my child every day as I drove her to school until she graduated from high school. I did not have one accident nor received one traffic violation ticket. She was not harmed on field trips, by bullies, and after-school programs, etc. The trip was across town 45 min each way. Everyone knows Atlanta traffic is MAD. The school was very good and worth the trip.

Psalm 23
1(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runs over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Call to Salvation:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
