Hello ePrayer Circle’s Tribe,
I am sorry to hear about the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza. It is a difficult and heartbreaking situation, and my prayers are with all of those who are affected. War is hard. Sometimes it is necessary. God has called and won many wars.
I believe that Canada’s call for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid is a wise one. It is important to remember that innocent civilians are always the ones who suffer most in war. I am glad to hear that some of the hostages have been released, and I pray that the rest will be freed soon.
However, spiritual warfare is a more serious threat than physical war. Our enemy, the devil, is constantly seeking to destroy us. We must be prepared to fight him with the weapons of prayer, faith, and the Word of God.
I am concerned about the rising crime rate around the world. It seems like there is more and more violence and hatred every day-there is war in our neighborhood streets.
There are vicious attack on innoncent children everywhere. I believe that this is a sign that the end times are drawing near.
People are walking away from the faith and the laws of God. as a result, sinister spirits are taking over and people are losing their minds.
We need to be ready for Jesus’ return. We need to have our hearts right and our lives in order. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and equipped for the spiritual battle that is ahead. The end of each of our worlds happens when we experience death. There does not have to be a war nor a great coming of the Lord.
This brings me to the subject matter of today, the Great Commandment: A Call for Love and Compassion. Are you ready? Is love in your heart? Do you have anyone you need to forgive? Be spiritual war-ready, repent your sins with remission, and make sure your loved ones are doing the same. Commit or recommit to Jesus Christ. It is spiritual warfare and it can happen anywhere and at any time. The crime rate all over the world is off the chain. We don’t have to wait until war or any special attack.
Philippians 2:12 KJV “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
The Great Commandment
In a world marked by conflicts, struggles, and divisive ideologies, the words of Jesus Christ, hold profound significanceIn response to a question posed by a lawyer, Jesus revealed the essence of God’s commandments and the purpose of our existence.
Matthew 22: 34-40, He stated, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
The first part of this commandment reminds us of the importance of nurturing our relationship with God, a relationship grounded in love, faith, and devotion. The second part highlights the significance of our interactions with our fellow human beings, emphasizing the need for love and compassion towards one another.
Jesus’ message is not limited to a particular religion or denomination. It transcends boundaries and speaks to the core of what it means to be human. In the context of the Israel-Gaza War, these words hold immense relevance.
The Israel – Gaza War: A Call for Love and Compassion
The Israel – Gaza War is an ongoing conflict, marked by deep-seated political, historical, and religious tensions. While political leaders, military strategies, and international diplomacy often take center stage in discussions surrounding this conflict, it’s essential to remember the human lives it affects.
Amidst the chaos, suffering, and destruction, the great commandment becomes a beacon of hope. Regardless of our faith or beliefs, we can all strive to love our neighbors as ourselves. In the context of the Gaza War, our neighbors include both those directly affected by the conflict and those on the global stage who advocate for peace.
- Love thy Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind
In the heart of the Gaza Strip, families have endured decades of turmoil, often living in conditions marked by limited access to basic necessities. Gaza, terrorism has birth from your grounds and the world has witness it. The commandment calls us to love even these neighbors who suffer, to empathize with their plight, and to work towards a world where their suffering can be alleviated. Gaza, you must re-exam your policies and actions and make them for peace not war. Israel has a right to survive and in peace. Therefore, Gaza must love the people of Israel and know that all land belongs to God and we are all made in the image of God. Remember, you all started out as Jews in the same land. There is only one God. Gaza, The Lord is calling for obedience. Jesus Christ is Lord. There is no peace without him.
- Love Thy Neighbor: Advocating for Peace
Beyond the borders of the conflict zone, individuals, organizations, and nations can act as neighbors by advocating for peaceful resolutions to this longstanding conflict. The commandment encourages us to embrace diplomacy, understanding, and compassion as we seek to bring about an end to the suffering in the region. I believe Israel are the chosen people of God. It is not for anyone to judge Israel but God. Israel, God is calling for obiedience. Jesus Christ is Lord. There is no peace without him. God fights for his children and against his enemies.
The Path Forward: A Call to Action
As individuals and as a global community, we have the capacity to embody the great commandment in the face of the Israel Gaza War. By loving our neighbors and our enemies, we can contribute to a more compassionate, just, and peaceful world. Remember that our shared humanity binds us together, transcending geographical, political, and religious boundaries.
2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV “And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
Conclusion
In a world too often marked by division, conflict, and suffering, the teachings of Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:36-40 offer us a timeless and universal path toward peace and unity. In the context of the Israel Gaza War, embracing the great commandment becomes a call to action, reminding us that, as neighbors on this shared planet, we are bound by a common duty to love and care for one another, especially the children.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
