I was studying my bible as I feel the need to open it and read it every day even though I have studied it for years. The Lord speaks to us through the Word of God. Therefore, I encourage you to do the same. The thoughts that come to me sometimes are mind-boggling as I look at the old or common things known in a new way.
It is Easter and the Passover is being celebrated. I was reading how God told Moses to tell the people to put the blood of the Lamb on their doors so the plaque would pass over them.
In all the destruction that was being sent by the Lord, they who had the blood of the Lamb on their doors would be spared. Today, When we believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit, we are marking ourselves and our homes with the Spirit of God. Jesus is the blood that is given for our sins. His salvation saves us today. Jesus is the lamb’s blood on our doors. Regardless, of what is happening today, all is well with your soul. Stay in the faith.
The Passover is to be celebrated as commanded by God because all believers are Jews and by faith, descendants of Abraham. Jesus was crucified while the animal lambs were being prepared for the sacrifice performed at the Passover. Jesus is referred to as the Wounded Lamb, The Lamb, and the Treasure of Heaven. He is referred to in the Book of Revelation as The Lamb – The only one able to open the “Seal”. Jesus Christ is the only sacrifice needed for our sins.

Passover 2023 will be celebrated from April 5 to April 13.
