Let the Children Live: The State of America’s Children. Stop the Violence.

“15-year-old charged with terrorism, murder in Oxford High shooting as the fourth victim dies.”

Father, please engulf with love the souls that passed on from the “Oxford High School”  shooting.  Comfort the ones left behind.  Please help law enforcement to stop the violence on our children and other innocents.  Forgive us for our sins, protect the children, and heal the land.  Amen.   In Jesus’ name.

Proverbs 6:16-18  16These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Psalms 127:3  “Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

Matthew 25:40  “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Matthew 18:6KJV  “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he was drowned in the depth of the sea.

According to the website, Children’s Defense Fund:  The State of America’s Children 2021, the following information is true. This group is supporting gun control. While it does not represent the opinion of eprayer circle (refraining from an opinion for now) the following facts are presented for your information to help you understand your choice or help you make a choice. These statistics are astounding. https://www.childrensdefense.org/state-of-americas-children/soac-2021-gun-violence/

  • In 2019, nine children and teens were killed with guns each day in America—one every 2 hours and 36 minutes.
  • Guns killed more children and teens than cancer, pneumonia, influenza, asthma, HIV/AIDs, and opioids combined.5
  • While mass shootings grabbed fleeting public and policymaker attention, routine gunfire took the lives of more children and teens every week than the Parkland, Sandy Hook, and Columbine massacres combined.
  • Since 1963, nearly 193,000 children and teens have been killed with guns on American soil—more than four times the number of U.S. soldiers killed in action in the Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq wars combined.6
  • For every child or teen fatally shot, another 5 suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.7
  • An estimated 16,644 children and teens were injured with guns in 2018—one every 32 minutes.

Call to salvation:

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
