It Is Well With My Soul – Be Rich Toward God. Practice Delayed Gratification

We cannot stop end time biblical prophecy of famine, war, and crimes but we can survive it and all else through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He gave eternal life through the completed work on the cross to all who accept salvation.

Regardless of your environment, or material possessions, your soul is protected.   All is well with your soul.  Don’t get anxious, upset, or overly competitive. You need to stay calm and focus on the most important things: God, love, body, mind, and soul.  It doesn’t mean you have to be content with any old situation but before doing anything rash, trust God and know his power and all of heaven is with you. Ask God, What will you have me do in this situation?  Change your perception of gratification and practice self-control of your emotions to win.

Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to sayIt is well, it is well with my soul

The old hymn “It Is Well With My Soul”  was written by Horatio G. Spafford and Philip P. Bliss.  Horatio was on his own voyage to meet Anna, his wife, As his ship neared the place where their four daughters had drowned in the shipwreck that only Anna survived, Horatio was inspired to write the lyrics for the hymn “It is Well with My Soul.” Unlike many heartbreak songs, it focuses less on what was lost and more on where hope can be found – Jesus Christ.  (Source: American Songwriters.com)

My sin, oh the bliss of this glorious thought (a thought)My sin, not in part, but the whole (every bit, every bit, all of it)Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more (yes!)Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
It is well (it is well)With my soul (with my soul)It is well, it is well with my soul

Luke 12:21 KJV (a man said} 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater, and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast many goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.

22And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
