EPRAYER ROOM: What Is the Meaning of Life? God is Thy Life and the Length of Thy Days Deut. 30:20 KJV

Deuteronomy 30:20 KJV “That thou may love the LORD thy God, and that thou may obey his voice, and that thou may cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou may dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

The question of the meaning of life has puzzled people for centuries. Many look for answers in wealth, fame, or pleasure. However, the Bible gives us a clear answer: the meaning of life is found in God.

In Deuteronomy 30:20 KJV, we read, “That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days.” This verse tells us that God is our life and the one who gives us our days. By loving and obeying Him, we find true meaning.

Deuteronomy 30:15 KJV  adds, “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil.” God gives us a choice between life with Him or life without Him. Choosing God leads to a meaningful and blessed life.

Isaiah 58:11 KJV  says, “And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” When we follow God, He guides us and satisfies our deepest needs, giving our lives purpose and joy.

Romans 10:13 KJV  states, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Salvation through Jesus Christ gives our lives eternal meaning. It assures us that we are loved and have a future with God.

John 1:12 KJV tells us, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” Believing in Jesus makes us children of God, giving us a new identity and purpose.

Philippians 4:19 KJV  promises, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” God meets all our needs, both physical and spiritual. Trusting Him brings peace and fulfillment.

In conclusion, the meaning of life is found in a relationship with God. By loving, obeying, and trusting Him, we find true purpose and satisfaction. God is our life and the length of our days, guiding us and providing for us in every way.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
