ePrayer: Gods Goodness: A Poem of Thanks and Praise
Introduction: In moments of joy and gratitude, we often turn to God, acknowledging His goodness and mercy in our lives. This poem reflects on the blessings we receive from the Lord, drawing inspiration from two scriptures from the King James Bible.
God’s Goodness: A Poem of Thanks and Praise
In the quiet of the morning,
When the sun begins to rise,
I lift my voice in thankfulness,
To the Lord, who’s truly wise.
For He has filled my life with good,
And blessings all around,
His love and mercy, like a flood,
In every joy, I’ve found.
The fields are dressed in greenest hues,
The rivers flow with grace,
Each tree extends its leafy arms,
In His vast and wondrous space.
The birds that sing, the stars that shine,
Declare His mighty hand,
The wonders of His creation,
Across the sky and land.
In the pages of His Holy Word,
I find sweet promises divine,
That He will never leave my side,
His goodness, ever mine.
So, as I journey through each day,
In His goodness, I’ll abide,
For in His love, I find my way,
Forever by His side.
Scriptures:
Psalm 34:8 (KJV) – “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 107:1 (KJV) – “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
