ePrayer for Turkey and Syria Victims of the Earthquake

Isaiah 46:4 KJV  “And even to your old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

This prayer below is for the victims of an earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria very hard.  There is a three-day deadline for rescuers to get everyone they can out. It’s the best time of survival for victims.  The US sent many volunteer rescue personnel. The death toll has climbed to 9,000. One lady gave birth during the earthquake the baby was found alive with the cord still attached but CBS (see video below) reported that the mother did not make it.  In addition, below is a little biblical history that references this area.

Father God, If it’s thy will, accept this prayer for our sisters and brothers, victims of the Turkey and Syria earthquake.

Lord, please comfort the ones who were spared, and take care of those who perished.

Help the volunteers be successful in finding victims still alive. Keep the rescue workers and volunteers safe.

Allow this to be a wake-up call to survivors and others watching from around the world.  The hour is near.

No one knows when their time will come. Help us to be ready because there may not be time to get ready.  Life is not promised every day.

Father cleanse our hearts to cleanliness and restore souls to righteousness so we may love you and love each other

as you have commanded, in Jesus’ name Amen.
