Do Not Undo God’s Work with Food. Romans 14:21KJV
Romans 14:21KJV “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything whereby thy brother stumble, or is offended or is made weak.”
When people are invited to dinner, many hosts will consider each guest’s diet in making of the menu. Some people are allergic to fish, some peanuts, and some are on medical diets. Others cannot drink alcohol for one reason or another, nor eat certain foods because they are trying to lose weight or gain muscle. According to the bible, New Testament, it is forbidden to eat food given in a religious sacrifice. Some traditions and cultures have restricted diets during certain times or holidays. If someone has high blood pressure and takes medication, don’t insist they eat pork ribs. Pork is known to cause high blood pressure problems. If prayer is given for healing and the healing is received, do not eat foods that will bring that condition back on. Do not undo God’s favor with food. The Word says, do not insist that someone eat a certain food if it calls for any type of offense but instead to live in peace. CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
