The Gospel of John Chapter 7 Overview Chapter 7: Jesus identifies his enemy as The World as a Spirit. That spirit is Satan, “The Accuser”. One of the reasons Satan was thrown out of heaven was because he accused God’s people day and night. Revelation 12:10KJV “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
The Gospel of John Chapter 8. Overview Chapter 8: A woman is accused of having sex outside of marriage. The punishment was to stone that person to death. Jesus asked the crowd. If any one of you are not guilty of sin, throw the first stone. The crowd walked away. He gave her forgiveness and told her to sin no more.
