Daily Word: Repentance “A Remission of Sins: A Gift for All.
The remission of sins is a gift from God, and not something that we can earn. The gift is not for a special group for all that receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive this gift by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord, getting baptized unto salvation, repenting of our sins and trusting in Jesus. See offer of salvation below.
Deuteronomy 31:8 KJV “And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
Luke 24:47 KJV “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
