Daily Word: Do Not Take Kindness For A Weakness – Kindness is Grace
Kindness is a beautiful gift from God. It is a way to show love and care to others. However, sometimes people think being kind means being weak. This is not true. Kindness is a sign of grace, and grace is powerful. We should never take advantage of kindness.
In Ephesians 4:32 (KJV), the Bible says, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” This verse reminds us that kindness comes from a loving heart. We should be kind to others because God has been kind to us.
A great Bible story about kindness is the story of the Good Samaritan. In Luke 10:30-37, Jesus tells about a man who was hurt by robbers and left on the road. Many people passed by without helping, but a Samaritan man stopped and took care of him. He showed great kindness, even though he did not know the injured man. This story teaches us to be kind to everyone, even strangers.
Proverbs 11:17 (KJV) says, “The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel trouble his own flesh.” When we are kind, we feel good inside. Kindness brings joy to both the giver and the receiver. On the other hand, being mean or cruel only brings trouble.
Parents should be kind to their children. Children trust and love their parents. Being mean to them can hurt their hearts. Colossians 3:21 (KJV) warns, “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.” This means parents should treat their children with kindness and love, not harshness.
Businesses should also respect their customers’ trust. Taking advantage of customers is wrong. A good business treats its customers with fairness and kindness. This builds trust and respect.
Kindness is not a weakness. It is a sign of grace. We should respect and value the power of kindness in our lives.

Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
