Daily Word: Building Strong Connections: Why Fellowshipping is Godly and Isolation is Dangerous
Staying connected as believers is crucial for our spiritual growth and well-being. The Bible gives us clear instructions on how we should treat, speak to, and greet each other, emphasizing that fellowshipping is of God, while isolation is of Satan. Let’s dive into these teachings and discover how we can live them out in our daily lives.

Proverbs 27:17 (KJV) says, “Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” This verse reminds us that we grow stronger in faith when we encourage and support each other. Just as the disciples went out in twos, we, too, should seek out fellow believers to strengthen and support one another.
James 5:16 (KJV) instructs us, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Honest communication and prayer are vital for keeping our connections strong.
Ephesians 4:25 (KJV) reminds us, “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.” We must be truthful in all our dealings with one another, as deceit has no place among believers.
Colossians 3:9 (KJV) echoes this: “Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.” Truth and honesty are essential to maintaining trust and unity.
Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) encourages us, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Regular fellowship is vital. It keeps us connected to God and to each other.

Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.” While the cultural context may differ today, the principle remains the same: greet each other warmly and with sincere affection. Do not be backstabbers. Remember, Jesus was betrayed with a kiss by Judas. Judas identified Jesus to his enemies with a kiss.
These scriptures emphasize the importance of fellowshipping together and creating a support system for ourselves, relatives, and friends. A neighbor close by is better than a brother far off. This reflects the idea that we should prioritize building strong, local connections, as they provide immediate support and encouragement.
Isolation is a tactic of Satan, designed to weaken us by cutting us off from the strength we find in fellow believers. In contrast, God calls us to fellowship, to be a witness and support for each other, just as the disciples did when they went out in twos. By staying connected, we fulfill God’s command and protect ourselves from the dangers of isolation. Satan divides and conquers.

- Gym: A great way to meet people. Everyone will not be saved but saved people do go to the gym. meet others and encourage each other, and take care of the body God has given you.
