Have you ever heard the saying, “Actions speak louder than words”? This means that what we do is more important than what we say. People watch what we do and learn from our actions. We teach and influence others by the way we live our lives. Let’s look at some Bible verses that show this.

First, 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV says, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” This verse tells us to be a good example in everything we do. Even if we are young, we can still show others how to live a good life.

Next, 1 Peter 5:3 KJV says, “Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” This means we should not boss others around but lead by showing a good example. When we act kindly and fairly, others will see and follow our example.

Proverbs 12:22 KJV  tells us, “Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.” God loves it when we are honest. If we always tell the truth, people will trust us and want to be like us. If people catch you in a lie it is hard to recover from it. If your children catch you lying they will remind you when you tell them not to lie. Remind them that everyone has to repent and do better.

Proverbs 11:3 KJV  says, “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” When we live with integrity, or honesty and strong moral principles, we make good decisions and avoid trouble. Our good choices can guide others too.

Proverbs 20:7 KJV  tells us, “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” If we live rightly, our children and others around us will learn from our example and be blessed.

Finally, Luke 16:10 KJV says, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” This means that if we are responsible with small things, we can be trusted with bigger things. By being faithful in everything we do, people will see that we are trustworthy.

Remember, somebody is always watching you. By living a life that shows good examples, we teach and influence others without even saying a word. Our actions truly speak louder than words.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
