Lamentations 3: 22-26 KJV 22It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Every Morning Mercies Are New
Ev’ry morning mercies new
Fall as fresh as morning dew;
Ev’ry morning let us pay
Tribute to the early day:
For Thy mercies, Lord, are sure;
Thy compassion doth endure.
Still the greatness of Thy love
Daily doth our sins remove;
Daily, far as east from west,
Lifts the burden from the breast;
Gives unbought to those who pray
Strength to stand in the evil day.
Let our prayers each morn prevail,
That these gifts may never fail;
And, as we confess the sin
And the tempter’s power within,
Feed us with the Bread of Life,
and Fit us for our daily strife.
As the morning light returns,
As the sun with splendor burns,
Teach us still to turn to Thee,
Ever blessed Trinity,
With our hands, our hearts raised,
In unfailing prayer and praise.
