How To Pray in Spirit and Truth -When you Pray for Change Allow Your Prayer to Change You. (KJV)
Believers of Jesus Christ communicate to God by praying in Jesus Christ’s name. Jesus Christ paid the price on the cross, so we can pray and talk to God wherever we are without making animal sacrifices for forgiveness of our sins or traveling to a location.
1. We worship in spirit and truth through the Holy Spirit by asking him to lead us in prayer and to make intercession on our behalf.
2. We come before God with fear from a humble place with sincere hearts to praise him, give gratitude, respect, and thanksgiving.
3. We repent our sins to agree with God on matters where we are wrong so that he may give us the grace to do better and forgive our sins.
4. We believe that God is able and that there are no limits to his powers and that he wants to help us. We do not pray from a place of lack instead claiming the promises of God by repeating scripture. God’s words are true. His words do not return to him void. it is written.
5. Last but not least, sincerely forgive everyone and hold no bad feelings or resentment toward anyone so that God will not hold anything against us when we come before him for judgment and in our time of need.
If you think God is not listening to you for any reason go to an elderly person and ask them to pray for you and with you. God directed some people in the bible to do that.
The more you pray to God in this manner, your prayers will change you because the Holy Spirit will be able to convict your spirit of God’s will. Gradually, you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind. All who call on the name of the Lord is saved. God hears ALL prayers that come from sincerity, love, holy spirit, and truth in Jesus Christ’s name.
