Letter from the Editors Desk: Assurance of Our Peace With God During These Troubling and Confusing Times John 14:27 KJV
Assurance of Our Peace With God (KJV)
Hello ePrayer Circle’s Tribe,
A few years ago, I attended a corporate business meeting. A successful executive gave his best advice on success in the corporate world. However, I found the advice to be true in any situation. It is also in accordance with God’s law. He said, ” The best advice I can give is “Watch what you say, watch what you do, and who you do it with”. You are putting good energy into your spirit, eating clean food, and exercising your body. Sometimes, each of our spirits needs a break from over-stimulation. Protecting our mind, body, and spirit helps to cut back on stress, anxiety, and mental, and physical illness. What do you do before going to bed? Is it something that rests your soul?
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
There is so much confusion, hurt, and anger in the world. It’s easy for people to get depressed and get less sleep due to anxiety. You can be assured that God is with you and he is Peace himself. Keep your thoughts on him. Keep God’s laws, and sobriety so God’s Holy Spirit can work on your behalf.
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Let’s do our part to claim the peace that God has given his believers: exercise and get your rest including naps if needed. Stop watching horror or murder thrillers consistently. Listen to music that praises God and sing along or listen to instrumental music that’s soothing. Read the bible. The words of God are anointed. Eat healthy food. Don’t forget to pray over your food so that it “nourishes your body only”.
A conversation I had with my daughter concerning quiet people vs peaceful people:
I asked my daughter, Do you think a quiet person is a peaceful person?
She said, yes.
I replied, not necessarily. There’s an old saying, “Sometimes a person is quiet so a bone won’t fly out of their mouth”.
In other words, they don’t want to tell on themselves.
2Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
A person of peace is a person without bad ulterior motives. A peacemaker is a person who brings people together in peace. A peaceful person does not hold grudges and creates strife. A peaceful person readily forgives and forgets. A peaceful person does not like to fight, gossip, or divide. A peaceful person operates in the light so their deeds are before God. Peaceful people are not people who send gossipy text messages that start fights, or steal others’ belongings or sleep around with other people’s mates. A peaceful person is one that carries the light inside of him or her and trusts God.
Jesus walked on this earth in the flesh as the Son of God, a bold speaker, and yet he is the Prince of Peace. He ministered to everyone. The ones who received him became light and they were no longer dark but new creatures in Christ. To be saved and receive the light, confess with your mouth, “Jesus Christ is Lord.” As you speak those words, “May the peace of God be with you.” Jesus is the light of the world. Savior of the world and God of all nations.
Ephesians 5:8-10. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Jesus told the disciples, whatever house you enter, test it to see if Peace lives there.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the Son of Peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
Finally, trust God. Phillippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
