Our Father which art in heaven, I come before you in Jesus Christ’s name. I ask the Holy Spirit to lead me in prayer so that I pray in spirit and truth. I come Father, with love, respect, fear, gratitude and thanksgiving. I am your faithful friend and loyal servant with praise of you on my lips all the days of my life. I love you with all my strength, all my heart, all my mind and all my soul. You are my strong tower, my most high dwelling place, the creator of heaven and earth and all life. You are truth, love, and hope. You have the highest place of honor in my life and I trust you with my life. I come from a humble place with a sincere heart, please forgive me for all my sins and I pray they do not stand against me as I pray to you for my child (children) in Jesus Christ’s name.
I pray Father, that my child (children) ______________________ (name(s)) stay in your hands because there is truth, grace, love, hope, healing, guidance and protection in your hands. It is written: John 10:29 “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” Protect my child (children) from all evil. Protect (him or her or them) when (he or she or they) go out and when (he or her or they) come(s) back in. Teach __________(names(s)) the way (he or she or they) should go in life. It is written: Isaiah 54:13 “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”
When my child (children) gets sick please send your ministering spirit to heal (him, her or them). There are so many diseases in this world that I cannot protect my child (children) from so I put my trust in the Lord to protect and heal. Help me to be the parent who fears the Lord so that you may guide me to be an excellent parent. At your perfect timing God, bring the right people into my child’s (children’s) life (lives) for friendships, careers, neighbors, and marriage.
I pray you meet my child (children) at (his or her or their) point of need so (he or she or they) do not fall into temptation. I stand in the gap for my child (children) and pray in the name of Jesus so the Holy Spirit of God may take away any fear, and anger (he, or she, or they) may encounter or hold on to and replace it with the spirit of love, truth, wisdom and revelation of you.
I pray with my child (children) and teach (him, her or them) to repent sins, and accept accountability for (his or her or their ) actions. I also teach them to love the truth. I pray they embrace the truth as out of the heart comes the issues of life. It is written: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Father, thank you for all you have done for my family and the blessings that you have bestowed upon us. There are no limits to your powers and time and distance are not barriers. I stand knowing that this prayer is answered. I believed, I asked and I received in the mighty name of the Holy Jesus Christ. Amen.
